• Returning students or students seeking readmission should not use the online application, you need to submit the Printable Paper Application
• Post Secondary Enrollment Option Students are required to submit additional information, please see PSEO requirements. 
  
  Please read the requirements for admission to Metropolitan State University and "Application Directions and Instructions" below before clicking on the online application link at the bottom of the page.

Application Directions and Instructions

1. Login to your existing MnSCU account or create a MnSCU Account
   • Select the appropriate account action needed:
     • 1) Have Username and Password account
     • 2) Have student ID and PIN account
     • 3) Need an account (create a new account)
   • If you created a new account, save the information for future reference when re-entering the system. You will receive an email confirmation if you created a new account.
   • Log into the MnSCU Account with your username and password.
2. Complete and submit the online application. You can complete your application in any order and save your work and come back to it later - even from a different computer! Check your application over carefully before sending it!
   • Please note that there maybe additional admissions requirements for your intended major.
   • Upon submission of your application, you will be informed of additional requirements needed to complete your admission. Be sure to fulfill these requirements in addition to submitting your application by the posted deadlines.
   • Please note that you will receive an email notification with your student id number from the Admissions Office.
3. Request official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions. View the admissions requirements for more information.
   
4. Pay the $20 application fee.  Your application will not be processed until you pay the application fee.
   
5. Login to your account to check the status of your application.  In addition, you will receive a letter from the Admission Office regarding the status of your online application.
