The School of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice (SLC) Cohort program is a degree completion program for stdent at Inver Hills Community College who have been awarded an associate degree (AS) in Law Enforcement or Crinimal Justice and are ready to earn a baccalaureate degree in Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice.

Cohort Program Highlights

  • Two major courses offered each term and sequenced over five terms, including Summer

  • Courses are offered al Inver Hills

  • Cohort begins each fall semester

  • Potential to complete the bachelor's degree in

  • 2-3 years depending on registration decisions

  • Additional coursework to meet baccalaureate degree requirements is based on individual student needs, goals and course availability

  • Additional requirements may be completed at Metropolitan State or Inver Hills each term to progress towards graduation

  • An earned law enforcement associate degree is required to pursue the law enforcement cohort program

  • Students should be aware of limitations in pursuing a law enforcement and criminal justice double major

  2. Apply and be admitted to Metropolitan State University.
