This course focuses on case studies. Topics include capital and business strategy analysis, forecasting and prospective analysis, mergers and acquisitions, credit analysis, corporate financing strategies, and management communications. This course requires extensive use of spreadsheets.

  1. Develop and utilize a high level of financial analysis and modeling skills using Microsoft Excel.
  2. Apply financial analysis, forecasting and valuation concepts to real-world application, resulting in a comprehensive valuation of a publicly traded stock.
  3. Learn corporate financial forecasting techniques and utilize in small business and large corporate applications.
  4. Prepare corporate level business documents and presentations.
  5. Utilize financial knowledge and analysis to solve business cases, including structured group interaction.
