- Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (B.S.D.H.)
This program began fall semester 2007. It provides associate degree dental hygienists from accredited institutions an opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (B.S.D.H.).
- Post-baccalaureate Certificate for Dental Hygienists
This program began fall semester 2007. It provides baccalaureate dental hygienists who have graduated from an accredited institution the opportunity to complete a certificate to augment their skills as dental hygienists.

Dental Hygiene Program Information Meetings
Metropolitan State University has partnered with Normandale Community College on three new dental hygiene advanced degree programs. The mission statements reflect the institutional academic plans of both Normandale and Metropolitan State. These innovative programs for licensed dental hygienists respond to the demand for course offerings that include collaborative/advanced dental hygiene practice, restorative functions duties for dental hygienists and enhance the scope of oral health care services by dental hygienists to fulfill the unmet needs of the public.
