Middle & High School Campus Visits
The Middle and High School Outreach programs offer students the opportunity to visit a college campus and public library, and to participate in hands-on age appropriate workshops and classes. Students “register” for classes, take a campus tour via a Scavenger Hunt where they tour offices they will visit when selecting a college as a young adult. Students also have lunch on campus and participate in 1-2 workshops developed by university students and staff.
YOUniversity Middle School Program
St. Paul and Minneapolis Get Ready! students that are currently in 6th – 8th grade have the opportunity to participate in a one-week program that focuses on career and educational options and as well as fun interactive classes! Students also participate in off campus service-learning projects and fieldtrips. All classes and workshops provide university students with teaching and teaching assistant opportunities.
