General Notes:
- Metropolitan State uses Java as the language of instruction throughout the programming sequence. Before you take ICS 240 or any 300+-level ICS course, you are expected to know Java.
- If you take the similar courses to ICS 140, ICS 141, ICS 240 at a community college in a language other than Java:
- You need to learn Java somehow, perhaps by taking ICS 267, a 2-credit independent study.
- You are likely to have met your second language requirement.
- You are encouraged to discuss transfer courses with your academic advisor.
