All applicants are required to complete the most current Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI), standardized Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) prior to application deadlines.

Please note: TEAS tests are scheduled at Metropolitan State University’s St. Paul campus September 1 – January 31, with availability becoming limited as the application deadline approaches. Students are encouraged to plan ahead as space is limited.   You do not need to submit the test results with your application – but you must either indicate that you will be applying to Metropolitan State University or request that your test results be sent to Metropolitan State University.  If you test at a non-MANE testing site, you may be required to pay an additional fee to have the transcript made available to the MANE school(s) to which you apply.

Disability Services

It is Metropolitan State University’s policy to provide on an individualized basis services to those who have disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.  Reasonable accommodations can be provided after appropriate documentation has been received and reviewed by the Office of Disability Services. Testing accommodations are accessible at your current campus or the campus you plan to attend for the MANE program. If you choose to take the TEAS exam at Metropolitan State University and require accommodations based on a professionally diagnosed and documented disability, you must submit documentation to support your request to the Disability Services Office 10 business days in advance of your preferred testing date.  For TEAS testing accommodation requests, contact the Disability Services Office at 651-793-1549 or Disability.Services@metrostate.edu

If your testing accommodation request is approved, please contact The Director of Undergraduate and Pre-Licensure Programs, Carol Reid, at 651-793-1401 or Carol.Reid@metrostate.edu for further instruction.
