Metropolitan State University uses Web technology in three types of courses. View a complete list of online courses offered by Metropolitan State University. Undergraduate and Graduate courses are listed together.

Internet Courses (INT), or fully online courses, are completely online and do not require classroom meetings, although they do have activities and assignments scheduled each week. In some Internet courses, registration is limited to students who have been admitted to a completely online program.

Web-Enhanced Courses (WEBL), also called "hybrid" or "reduced-seat time" courses, combine online learning with face-to-face classroom meetings. Generally, classes meet every other week with half of the course activity taking place in the classroom and the other half taking place online. In between class meetings, students are involved in online activities such as participating in discussion forums, taking quizzes, and conducting research.

Web-Supported Courses (WEBS) have classroom meetings once or twice a week. The instructor uses the course Web site to put up course materials and establish communication networks through discussion forums.
