If you have not yet been admitted to Metropolitan State University and want to discuss a College of Management program, please contact the Admissions Office. Admissions Counselors can help you decide which program is right for you, discuss how your previous coursework will transfer for general education requirements, and provide assistance with the admissions process. Getting Help with Your Questions:

If you can't find the information you are looking for on the web, or if you need assistance or clarification, please contact an academic advisor. If you have a pre-major advisor or assigned advisor, contact that advisor for assistance. Through NetDirect, an e-campus service for students, you can find out who your advisor is and their contact information. If you do not have an assigned advisor, or if your advisor is not available when you need help, contact the Advising Center and ask for the Advisor of the Day (AOD). The AOD is available to help students who stop by or phone the Advising Center during office hours.

If you wish to discuss registration and degree requirements, it is a good idea to have your GELS worksheet and your major checklist with you when you call or visit an advisor.

Advisors are extremely busy during the registration period. Although they try to respond to you as quickly as possible, please understand that it may take longer than a day or two for them to get back to you during a peak period. Plan ahead — contact your advisor well before registration starts so that they can give you the prompt service that you desire.

The COM Undergraduate Advising Center is located on the Minneapolis campus in the Management Education Center (MEC) room M1004. The entrance to the MEC building is on 13th Street and Harmon Place. After entering the building, go through the door just to the right of the MEC front desk, and you will find the COM Advising Center on the left.
