Have you been looking for that special something to help you “get in the door” of large corporations? If you are part of a woman-owned and operated business, that something could be the Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification. Although not a guarantee of business, WBE Certification has been proven to provide a competitive edge in bidding for corporate contracts. A national, third-party certification, WBE Certification is respected and accepted by over 700 major corporations in the U.S. Attend our popular “ABC’s of WBE Certification” workshop to see if the leading woman’s business certification is right for you. Ideal participants should be a part of a business that at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by a woman or women, who want to work with large corporations

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

The workshop is presented by Kristin Johnson, a national expert on WBE certification with over a decade of experience in supplier diversity and procurement. Gain an understanding of whether or not your business could qualify for women business certifications. Learn the overall benefits of WBE certification and then be able to determine if certification will actually benefit your business. All of the local, state and federal government certifications available in Minnesota will be covered. The workshop is offered in partnership with WomenVenture.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Participants must be part of a business that at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by a woman or women. In addition, participants should be interested in acquiring corporate contracts. If you are already certified as a WBE through WBENC, you do not need to attend this workshop.
