Annual Graduate Program Spring Dinner, 2014
The Metropolitan State University Graduate Program Spring Dinner is an annual event, held each spring so that students, faculty, alumni and special guests can get together to celebrate our accomplishments for the year.
Co-sponsored by the Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC), the dinner is a testament of support for the graduate programs and the students' efforts and sacrifices in pursuing their masters' and doctor's degrees.
The 30th Annual Graduate Program Spring Dinner will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014, at the St. Paul Campus, Great Hall, 700 East Seventh Street. The keynote speaker is John Harrington, Chief of Metro Transit Police and former Chief of Police for the City of St. Paul. Mr. Harrington also served on the Minnesota State Senate and was CEO of Ujamaa Place – a not-for-profit agency that works with African American men in St. Paul to transition them out of prison into productive community members. He has a powerful message that will resonate with alums in all three sectors. COM Spring 2014 Dinner.
