Characteristics of COM Graduate Programs

Quality and Affordability
We offer graduate programs of uncompromising quality at the most affordable price in the upper Midwest. We believe that quality does not have to cost more.

Excellence In Instruction
Instructors are committed to excellence in teaching, learning and scholarship. Many of our instructors work in the fields in which they teach and draw from their daily experience, allowing you to take what you learn today and apply it on the job tomorrow.

Fully Online Degrees
All three programs (MBA, MMIS, and MPNA) are offered fully online for professionals who have challenging work and family situations, travel extensively, or are beyond commuting distance from the Twin Cities. Unlike many other online programs, our online courses are taught by the same outstanding faculty who teach in the classroom.

Flexibility
Choose to take courses on our campus, fully online, or a combination of both. Evening and Saturday classes are available at our Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Midway campuses. Online courses allow students to participate from the comfort of their own home or office at times convenient to them. Web-enhanced courses meet every other week in the classroom and work online between class meetings.

Cross Sector Learning
Each of our graduate programs have at least a few courses involving students from the public, private and nonprofit sectors. We believe that this enriches the education our students receive in a work world that is increasingly cross-sector and in which professional careers and community service increasingly cross the sectors.
