Bachelor of Science (BS), Human Services major is for students interested in a career as a helping professional, broadly trained to provide direct service, advocacy, and coordination of services. Students pursing this human services major must demonstrate competence or complete at least one of the designated four-credit courses in each of the seven required competence areas, in addition to, the five core courses which all human services majors are required to complete.
