You need to get admitted into Metropolitan State University before you can do anything. Meeting with a Admission Counselor is your first step. Admissions Counselors can tell you which of your post-secondary education credits (if you have any) will transfer over, and give you general information about Metropolitan State.

To arrange a visit with a Metropolitan State University admissions counselor call the Admissions Office in St. Paul at 651-793-1300 or E-mail at admission.metro@metrostate.edu

First College Admission

As part of your admission into Metropolitan State you will be required to attend new student orientation. As part of the orientation, you will have the chance to attend a First College Information Meeting.

At this meeting you will learn more about First College, its policies and procedures, and the philosophy of Individualized Learning.

Once you declared your desire to earn an Individualized Degree, you will be assigned a First College advisor to help you through your academic journey.
