International students are a welcome and vital part of Metropolitan State’s diverse learning environment.

International student applicants have additional application requirements and must follow instructions and deadlines indicated by the International Student Office.

Please note that international students applying to graduate programs must have their official transcripts sent directly to the Graduate Studies Office and not to the undergraduate Admissions Office. All transcripts from non-U.S. schools must be evaluated by ECE (preferred) or WES. The equivalent of a baccalaureate degree is required for all graduate programs.

Note also that TOEFL minimum scores are higher for graduate programs, ranging from 550-600 (paper) and 213-250 (computer). Official TOEFL scores must be submitted, student copies are not acceptable.

The International Student Services Office provides important additional information for international students interested in applying to the University.
