Welcome

On behalf of the School of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice (SLC), we are pleased to welcome you to Metropolitan State University.  You probably have many questions about your first steps.  Advising is where you can get help with those questions.

The SLC Advising Center provides a range of student services, including guidance in getting started, explanation of degree requirements and assistance with course selection and registration.  Academic advising will help you make informed decisions, feel confident about your plans, make the most of your education, and complete your degree as efficiently as possible.  We look forward to working closely with you on your academic progress.

Admission to the University

If you have not been admitted to Metropolitan State University and want to discuss admission into the University, contact the Admissions Office to meet with a Metropolitan State Admissions Counselor.  Admissions Counselors can help you decide which program is right for you, discuss how your previous coursework will transfer, and provide assistance with the admissions process.
