The Premajor Advising Workshop (PAW) is designed to serve criminal justice and law enforcement students after admission to the university. PAW sessions introduce students to SLC programs, policies and procedures. New students who completed New Student Orientation online need to register for and attend a PAW. Students who completed an on-campus New Student Orientation in June 2010 or later will have completed the PAW as part of on-campus orientation and do not need to register for or attend a separate PAW.
Attendance at a PAW is one of several requirements for criminal justice and law enforcement students to declare their major. Sessions are offered several times throughout the semester. Students must register in advance to attend a PAW by calling 763-657-3764. Space is limited and walk-ins are not accepted.
All workshops are held at the Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Education Center in Brooklyn Park.
