
The BA in criminal justice provides students with a broad analysis of the relationship between law and society as well as a thorough examination of the interrelationships, functions and operations of the different components of the criminal justice system. Students completing a criminal justice major are well-prepared for employment and advancement in a wide range of criminal justice careers.
Important to note:
- Prepare yourself in the knowledge and skills for employment in careers in corrections, probation, parole, courts, or programs focused on restorative justice.
- Your volunteer and work experience coupled with the criminal justice major will help you compete for a job.
- The School of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice have experienced faculty who represent various aspects of the criminal justice system.
