Urban Teacher Faculty & Staff
One of the unique features of the Urban Teacher Program is the quality and diversity of its faculty members.
- They are comprised of veteran teachers and administrators from public schools with experience teaching urban youth.
- They have a wealth of teaching experiences from birth through grade 12 and in a variety of subject specialties.
- Most represent diverse cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds with half of them speaking more than one language.
- They hold doctorates, have international teaching experience, contribute to the scholarship in their field, and are active in professional and community-based organizations.
