First Peace Corp Baccalaureate student - Carrie MayPeace Corps or degree completion? Peace Corps has established a partnership with Metropolitan State University that allows current or returning Peace Corps volunteers to earn academic credits toward a Peace Corps B.A.

Do you want to serve the cause of peace in our world while completing credits toward your B.A. degree?

Earn your degree while serving the cause of peace and experiencing vibrant cultures around the world. You can do all this with the unique Peace Corps Baccalaureate Degree, a specialized Individualized Degree at a Distance offered by Metropolitan State University’s First College in collaboration with the Peace Corps

If you have an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science from a community or technical college or have the equivalent in completed college work, we want to hear from you.

To qualify for this program you must:

 • Apply and be accepted as an undergraduate student at Metropolitan  State University

 • Apply and be accepted for service in the Peace Corps (or have completed Peace Corps service) 

If accepted into the PCBA program, you will:

 • Document learning for credit from Peace Corps training and application.

 • Qualify for resident tuition.

 • Maintain active student status, including access to Metropolitan State electronic academic resources.
