Human Services Major BS and BHS
Human Services major is for students interested in a career as a helping professional, broadly trained to provide direct service, advocacy and coordination of services. Students acquire a more specialized professional education because the degree program incorporates concentration areas, which emphasize specific areas of service in the following areas:
- Corrections
- Disability Studies
- Family Studies
- Human Services Administration
- Social Gerontology
- Training and Adult Development
- Violence Prevention and Intervention
The Human Services Major program is a part of the College of Professional Studies and is offered as a major BHSand BS.
