Open Monday - Friday Food for Thought 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Food for Thought provides unprepared food directly to students in need who do not have enough to eat. Food for Thought is at Saint Paul Campus in Founders Hall Room 201A—open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Food for Thought—organized by the Student Parent Center in partnership with Good in the ‘Hood, receiving assistance from Student Senate and Second Harvest Heartland—open to all Metropolitan State students. The pantry also accepts any and all food donations. Volunteer opportunities are available at Food for Thought. September 3 - November 12 (Thurdays) Chat and Chew noon - 1 p.m.

Location: Saint Paul Campus, FH L119

Speakers will join us to address the following topics:

Sept. 17 — Exercise and Healthy Lifestyle
Sept. 24 — Resume Building
Oct. 1 — Career Networking

September 27 & October 15 Want to Learn to Cook  

Join us to learn from a professional caterer how to prepare tasty food for the family! Chefs from Heavenly Day catering will help parents and children learn how to make tasty easy recipes.

Sunday, September 27 at 3pm – Apple Pies
Thursday, October 15 at Noon – Crock Pot Root Vegetable Dish
(On Thursday, Chat and Chew lunch first on the dish you will be preparing)

Attend both and get a free Crock Pot!

  • Introducing a “Think Group” for Parents Raising Children with Disabilities. Counseling services will be leading a group discussing strategies, skills and learning about other parents’ experiences. Please contact Counseling Services to state your intent for participating at 651-793-1568 or stop by FH 221.
