Spring 2016 - Schedule of Events
Open Monday - Friday Food for Thought 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Food for Thought is a pantry that provides unprepared food directly to students in need who do not have enough to eat. Food for Thought is organized by the Student Parent Center in partnership with Good in the ‘Hood, receiving assistance from the Student Senate and Second Harvest Heartland. It is open to all Metropolitan State students, located at the Saint Paul Campus, Founders Hall 201A, and is open Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. The pantry accepts any and all food donations. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

January 26 - April 19 (Tuesdays) Chat and Chew noon - 1 p.m.
Chat and Chew gives student parents the opportunity to meet with others to learn about and discuss topics geared to help manage life and learning at Metropolitan State. A light meal will be provided. Meetings are Tuesdays, noon–1 p.m. at the Saint Paul Campus, Founders Hall 301. Not meeting spring break week – March 8.

January 29 (Friday) Family Movie Night 6pm
Plan to attend the Student Parent Center’s Annual Family Movie Night! This is a FREE event. Simply bring your pillows and blankets – we will provide dinner, popcorn and refreshments. Science Education Center 115 (room change)
