Students on academic warning must complete an academic success workshop as well as meet with their academic advisor prior to registering for courses.
Register for an academic success workshop and schedule your advising appointment as soon as possible in order to avoid a delay in registering for classes.
There are three options for completing the Academic Success Workshop:
- Online
- In-person
- One-on-one appointment with a Gateway Advocate

Register for the Online Academic Success Workshop
Send an e-mail to gateway@metrostate.edu requesting to be registered for an online academic success workshop including:
- Subject: Online Academic Success Workshop
- Student ID
- First and last name
- Session ID
You will receive an e-mail confirmation of registration within 1-2 business days with instructions on how to complete the workshop.

Register for a one-on-one appointment
Appointments may be scheduled with an advisor for students who are unable to complete an online or in-person workshop.
To request an individual appointment, contact stanley.hatcher@metrostate.edu. Allow at least 5 working days to schedule an individual appointment.
