Students may take the required placement tests at any location if they are physically not in Minnesota. In this situation, a formal proctor is required. It is the student's responsibility to find a proctor from a local college, university, library, or an educational facility. Find the Proctor Form at the lower part of this page to download.

Students in Minnesota may take the required placement tests at a nearby MnSCU institution. The best option is to take the tests on Metropolitan State University's testing site, so there will be no need to transfer the results. Another option is to transfer the results to Metropolitan State by emailing, firstname.lastname@example.org, if the proctor at the other institution does not have access to our website. Be aware that Metropolitan State only accepts Accuplacer test results.
