Information for Students

All appointment scheduling is done online using the RegisterBlast system. After your instructor submits the exam materials to us, you can schedule your appointment at your convenience.
Visit the following webpage to schedule your appointment.
See our instructions for scheduling (.pdf) for a step-by-step guide on scheduling appointments.
Our proctoring hours of operation can be found each semester at our Proctoring Schedule webpage.

VIP Information to Read

  • Our scheduling platform RegisterBlast is automated. You will only be able to select a day and time to complete an exam that:
    • falls within the testing window set by your instructor
    • falls on a day we are open
    • allows you to complete your exam before the Center closes
  • If you do not see your exam as an option in RegisterBlast, then please contact your instructor.
    • The testing window may have expired
    • The materials may not yet be submitted

Off-Site Proctoring

Metropolitan State University students can also complete their exam at other testing centers nearby. See our webpage for Twin Cities testing centers for a list of alternatives.

  • Check that your instructor has submitted the exam to us.
  • Contact a testing center and schedule an appointment.
  • Complete the Proctor Information and Student Information on the off-site proctor form (.doc) and email a copy to at least 48 hours before your appointment.
  • Upon receiving the form, we will send the exam to your chosen testing center.
  • After your exam, the testing center will send us the completed form and your exam. We will then send the exam to your instructor.

Non-Metropolitan State Students

Exams for courses outside the Minnesota State system incur a $35 charge, payable only by check or money order at the time of the appointment.

  • Contact your institution’s testing center or instructor, and have them send us the exam materials/information and any required off-site proctor forms.
  • Once we’ve received the exam, email us at for information about scheduling your appointment.
