Location and Contact Information

Appointment Tutoring: Our St. Paul campus location is within the Center for Academic Excellence on the main floor of the library building (room 130). Our Midway campus location is on the lower level (room I). Our Minneapolis Location is in the Management Education Center (room 4070). The Writing Center specializes in face-to-face tutoring that offers you the most comprehensive learning.

To schedule an appointment, please choose from the following options:

  1. Give us a call during business hours! A member of our talented front-desk staff would be happy to assist you in registering and scheduling an appointment over the phone. Our number is 651-793-1460.
  2. Send us an email! You may also send appointment requests to: centerfolk@metrostate.edu. Please provide: your name, StarID, course number, course name, instructor name, and desired appointment time(s).
  3. Schedule your own tutoring appointment, day or night! You can schedule a 50-minute face-to-face appointment by pointing your browser to https://metrostate.mywconline.net (external site)

The first time you visit this online scheduling system, you will register an account for services. Once registered, you will be able to  schedule, modify, and cancel your appointments easily.

NOTE: Tutors may not be able to cover a paper longer than 6 pages in the allotted time.
