I first heard about Metropolitan State University from my Inver Hills advisor. When I began researching the university, I found that it was very close to home. I was excited when I learned that the university offered business courses, and they were very reasonably priced. I also liked how the university was divided into three campuses. This way, I could choose a location that was the most convenient. Also, I pictured myself interacting and sharing memorable moments with the diverse student community that inhabits and strolls the halls of the university. I liked the idea of having the privilege to learn about the variety of cultures and religions that roam the campus on a daily basis.
Joining Metropolitan State has changed my life. I feel that the knowledge and experience I've gained from my previous courses is substantial. The multiple group projects and presentations have enabled me to step out of my comfort zone and become the outgoing person I am today. Furthermore, I have met some very nice people, who have become a very special part of my life. I believe that the diversity between us makes everything more fun and exciting. We all bring the best of each culture and educate each other. Overall, Metropolitan State has played a precious part in shaping me and my future.
