Important Things to Remember

  • December is Stress Management Month. Check out our newsletter (.pdf).
  • Effective May 1, Zipnosis has changed its name to OnCare. If you have already registered with Zipnosis, you do not need to re-register with OnCare.
  • Register for OnCare. Create an account using your Metropolitan State University email and StarID. Once you are registered, sign in.
  • If you are currently enrolled for spring courses, you may use OnCare during the winter break.

Metropolitan State is now offering Healthcare and Wellness Services for enrolled university students. The university will be providing healthcare services in partnership with Fairview Healthcare Services. We are implementing these services because all four-year institutions in the Minnesota State System are required by Minnesota Law (State Statue 136.F20 Student Health) to provide health care services for students.

Enrolled Metropolitan State students will have access to healthcare services in two ways:

  1. Utilizing the telemedicine (online) platform called, OnCare (formerly called Zipnosis)
  2. Participating in other health and wellness initiatives throughout the year

Core Values:

  • Academic success
  • Community connections
  • Promoting optimal health for students of all background
