Project SAVE (Sexual Assault & Violence Education)

About the program

Project SAVE is a new peer educator program on campus coordinated by the Student Senate. The peer educators will be trained to respond to incidents dealing with sexual assault and violence on campus. They will hold a series of programs to serve as discussions to raise awareness monthly, as well as providing resource packets (online and print) that point to all on campus resources dealing with sexual assault and violence. Participating students will gain knowledge on sexual assault and violence while gaining leadership skills, training and increasing awareness and prevention of sexual assault for their campus community. More information can be found on the Project Sexual Assault & Violence Education page on OrgSync (create an OrgSync account using your student email address). Email project.save.metro@gmail.com for more information or to indicate your interest in participation.
