Lori brings a range of expertise in faculty development. Since 1986, she has been a community faculty member within the College of Arts and Sciences. She has worked in faculty development since 2000. Lori continues her community faculty duties by teaching public speaking and a few courses in the Masters in Liberal Studies program. Within the Center for Faculty Development, she focuses on the faculty development and support needs of the community faculty at Metropolitan State. Her office is adjacent to the St. Paul Campus Center for Faculty Development in room Library 131. She offers confidential consultations, in-class observations, in-class presentations on public speaking and stage fright management, and facilitated discussions on effective teaching. Lori is responsible for the Center for Faculty Development's online resources and facilitates faculty learning communities and teaching and learning workshops. Lori is committed to working with colleagues and supporting excellence in teaching and learning.
