Faculty Testimonials

The Center for Online Learning works hand-in-hand with hundreds of University faculty each semester to ensure quality education for Metropolitan State University students.  Every day, seasoned staff and graduate assistants field calls, respond to email requests, and meet with faculty in-person to collaborate on new and existing course developments, often under tight deadlines.  The Center for Online Learning and its staff reatly value the relationships that they are able to build with other staff and faculty across the University.  Below are some testimonials from our campus community.

"Just want to say that the staff at the Center for Online Learning has been a very proactive resource -- they do their best every day to help make the online experience rewarding for both faculty and students. I've taught online for more than ten years now and Center for Online Learning has always been helpful, responsive and patient - that last quality they do need I am sure, it's tough to be at the intersection of technology and people. They go above and beyond to help set up new functions for my sites, and their workshops have taught me many new ways to improve my courses. Three cheers for Center for Online Learning."

"I have been ever so grateful for the education I have received, and the rescues I have been accorded from Online Learning.

Bilal Dameh has been an ever patient, VERY insightful tutor on my journey to teaching from the and designing online courses. He has helped me with baby steps, moving closer to a better online presence.

Owen Hansen. Does that man ever sleep? I have had one emergency after another at times, and have been so grateful for his willingness to address problems "right there and then"! He offers creative solutions and has always taken time with me to trouble shoot and stays with me until there is a solution. He has also been very available to every student need that has arisen.

Oh, don't forget Travis Morgan! He has always been willing to take on new tasks, like when I asked for all of the DVD's related to my text, be turned into streaming on the ."
