Features:

Recording - Audacity can record live audio through a microphone or mixer, or digitize recordings from cassette tapes, records or minidiscs. With some sound cards, and on any Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10 machine, Audacity can also capture streaming audio.

Import and Export - Import sound files, edit them, and combine them with other files or new recordings. Export your recordings in many different file formats, including multiple files at once. Import and export WAV, AIFF, AU, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis files. Sound Quality:  Supports 16-bit, 24-bit and 32-bit (floating point).

Editing - Easy editing with Cut, Copy, Paste and Delete. Edit and mix large numbers of tracks. Multiple clips are allowed per track.

Accessibility - Excellent support for JAWS, NVDA and other screen readers on Windows, and for VoiceOver on Mac.

Effects - Change the pitch without altering the tempo (or vice-versa). Remove static, hiss, hum or other constant background noises. Alter frequencies with Equalization, Bass and Treble, High/Low Pass and Notch Filter effects. Adjust volume with Compressor, Amplify, Normalize, Fade In/Fade Out and Adjustable Fade effects.

Features:

Whiteboard presentation - Create hand written presentations and hand drawn graphics on an iPad. Any saved drawing can be opened again and reviewed, edited and set stop points using the timeline so you can replay your drawings and annotations as they were written. You can also add an audio voice over to any section, or the entire project, pausing at any point and resuming recording.

Presentation - With built-in remote desktop control you can access and annotate over files resident on your Windows PC or Mac and present through a projector.

Sharing - Screencast videos projects are saved in your My Recordings folder. From there, videos can be compressed or left at their original size, and shared to your Camera Roll, as an email attachment or via Facebook or YouTube. The video is saved in standard MP4 format and you retain control over where your work is shared.  Pages can also be saved as PDF file and shared via email.
