Become a grassroots activist. Learn to organize, develop, and sustain community, institutional, and social change. Accomplish these goals with a minor in Community Organizing and Development. You will study the historical and current day forces that shape the field of community organizing and development.

You will also:

  • Have field experiences in community organizing and development.
  • Explore the approaches of community empowerment and social justice.
  • Understand the impact of public policy on low-income populations and people of color.
