The Dean of Students Office includes:

  • Behavorial Intervention Team (BIT) is an interdisciplinary committee of University officials who meet to discuss students exhibiting high-risk behavior(s).
  • Center for Accessibility Resources helps students get started acquiring any necessary accomodations as well as ensures that Metropolitan State is accessible for all students, staff and visitors.
  • International Student Services serves as an entry point for international students (undergraduate and graduate), acts as a liason between international students and other support services, and promotes educational, social and cultural events for international students.
  • Multicultural Services serves to enhance the experience of historically underrepresented students at Metropolitan State University. Each office provides a variety of services including advising, activities, programming and referrals.

  • Judicial Affairs Office is available to problem-solve, mediate, and consult on problems before they rise to the level of student conduct code violation. The Judicial Affairs Officer also:
    • Investigates/adjucates alleged violation of the Student Code of Conduct
    • Develops/supports alternative conflict resolution
    • Conducts policy development and review
  • Student Life and Leadership Development complements student's education by developing social, cultural, intellectual, recreational and governance programs.
  • Veteran and Military Student Services assists all current and prospective students who have/are serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces. Veteran Services can help with benefits, certification, and provide general support in your transition as a student.
  • Women's Services provides programming, advocacy, support, outreach, information and referrals to educate and empower the women of Metropolitan State. All women (and men) welcome.
