    $9.86 starting wage, then $9.96 after 1,000 hours worked at this level

Major job duties

Serve as an assistant for the Nursing Simulation/Learning Lab in the college of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS). Assist with preparation of the learning lab for student experiences, retrieving equipment for open lab, returning equipment and supplies to their storage places, and ensuring students follow the Simulation Lab policies and procedures. Monitor lab inventory and supplies, keep an electronic record of supplies on a spreadsheet to facilitate ordering replacements, keep Simulation/Learning Lab Coordinator apprised of equipment malfunctions to ensure proper function of equipment. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications and experience

Customer service and organizational skills. Ability to function effectively in a team work environment as well as one-on-one. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Detail oriented and flexible. Ability to learn quickly. Experience with excel spread sheets. Confidentiality must be maintained. Regular and punctual attendance required.
