Major job duties
Responsible for greeting clients at reception desk, database entry, copy and fax machine use, filing, and communicating with Center clients to ensure quality service. Provide phone-based support to students who need to register for and/or schedule tutoring appointments. Some use of Microsoft Publisher in creating Center handouts, flyers, and brochures.
Qualifications and experience
Understanding and working knowledge of the Center’s software packages (Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher). Have the ability to follow and enforce standards and regulations. Must possess organizational and critical thinking skills. Must be punctual and reliable. Must demonstrate effective listening and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to solve problems is preferred.
