Major job duties
Working one-on-one with students or groups of students in chemistry. Professional development opportunities include initial training, subsequent in-service trainings, brown-bag presentations, and embedded tutoring possibilities.
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for confident chemistry students who like working with people learning science. Completion of CHEM-111, CHEM-112, CHEM-231, and CHEM-332 with a minimum grade of B+. Completion of CHEM-341 and other 300 level chemistry courses preferred. Knowledge/skills in biology, physics, mathematics or statistics is desirable. We’re looking for a student who could tutor for at least one academic year.
