Major job duties

Working one-on-one with students or groups of students in physics. Professional development opportunities include initial training, subsequent in-service trainings, brown-bag presentations, and embedded tutoring possibilities.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for confident chemistry students who like working with people learning science. Completion of PHYS 101, PHYS 110, PHYS 211 with a minimum grade of B+. Completion of PHYS 351 preferred.  Knowledge/skills in biology, physics, mathematics or statistics is desirable. We’re looking for a student who could tutor for at least one academic year.
