  • Pay Level B
    $10.20 starting wage, then $10.30 after 1,000 hours worked at this level

Major job duties

  • Assist with Orientation/Commencement supply inventory and equipment 
  • Assist with preparation for Orientation, Commencement, President’s Outstanding Student Reception, Grad Expos, and other first year/transfer student related welcome events  
  • Attend New Student Orientations, Commencement, President’s Outstanding Student Receptions, Grad Expos, and other first year/transfer student related welcome events
  • Attend all New Student Orientation and Commencement/Student Life & Leadership Development student staff meetings, retreats, events and professional development sessions
  • Distribute Commencement regalia
  • Conduct inventory on New Student Orientation and Commencement items and support with organizing materials to help provide efficient programming for students
  • Data entry into Microsoft excel spreadsheet, Microsoft PowerPoint, and limited access in ISRS (printing class-list/pushing out orientation holds).
  • Run errands on campus (mailroom etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience

  • Have and will maintain at least a 2.50 GPA

  • Work between 15-20 hours per week, some evenings and weekends

    • Attend New Student Orientations, Commencement, President’s Outstanding Student Receptions, Grad Expo, and other first year/transfer student related welcome events

    • Attendance to all student staff retreats are mandatory.

    • The fall retreat will be August 22, 2019 from 10 - 4:00 pm.

    • Student Staff meetings are mandatory Wednesday 10-12 pm.
