Major job duties

  • Work closely with the instructor on evaluating essay assignments
  • Support student learning as needed
  • Provide feedback on student assignments as needed
  • Prepare and present lectures on specific topics as needed

Qualifications and experience

  • Must be fully admitted and continuously enrolled in a Metropolitan State University graduate program
  • Interest in Writers of Color, Ethnic Studies, Multiculturalism, Social Activism, and/or Creative Writing
  • Able to support class that uses D2L (Brightspace) as an integral part of the class
  • Able to attend class WRIT (300-01) from 6:00 PM – 9:50 PM on Mondays: Jan. 13, Jan. 27; Feb. 10, Feb. 24; March 16.
