Human Services Club

The goal of the Human Services Club is to support students in deepening their understanding of human services as a discipline and profession. Please join us at our Human Services Club meetings. Future meetings will be announced. Visit OrgSync for more information.

Types of Involvement include:

  • students with majors, concentrations and minors in human services 
  • assisting students in obtaining service-learning opportunities, locally and internationally
  • offering assistance and information to students as they seek internships and other work/study opportunities
  • offering an opportunity for students to get to know each other, forming study groups and assisting the department relative to growth and visibility
  • forming a cohesive group with common concerns to work for human services goals and objectives
  • offering an opportunity for students who want to engage in active community research and beginning to understand what and how to publish research so that the research reaches the larger society/community
  • becoming a member of the National Organization for Human Service Education and attending national conventions
