All students are expected to demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge in their chosen area of human services. An internship is one avenue available to students to do this. Currently an internship field placement is only required for the Drug and Alcohol Counseling major (16 credits) and the Violence Prevention minor (4 credits). Internships are highly recommended for students new to the field of human services. See specific program area fact sheets for details about their respective internship requirements.Note: Students not in Drug and Alcohol Counseling may take up to 12 internship credits.
