LAWE 453 Applied Police Research
Using both a theoretical and practical framework, students identify and research a critical issue facing law enforcement and identify alternatives and solutions. This course is a student-designed research project to meet the special needs of students, their agencies, and/or the law enforcement profession.

Learning outcomes
General
- Identify critical challenges facing the law enforcement profession now and in the future.
- Develop a student designed research project to identify best practices utilized by other organizations regarding this issues.
- Formulate a future plan of implementation to address these issues within the organization.
