Join Metro State University as we host LatinoLEAD’s 5th annual AfroLatinidad celebration on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m on our Saint Paul campus. This family-friendly event honors the rich diversity within our Latinx community! Afrolatinidad: Vibras de la Diaspora is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in AfroLatinx cultural insights and impact, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of Minnesota's diverse community.

What to expect to AfroLatinidad 2024:

  • A stimulating relaxed afternoon in community with different options for the family.
  • Food will be available for purchase or bring your own picnic!
  • An exciting lineup of national and local AfroLatinx cultural leaders.
  • A cross-generational community-centered celebration of Latiné and allies, embracing our culture at its fullest to envision ways to connect and grow as people with a shared goal of mutual understanding with joy and amazing vibras
