This exciting final Lunch and Learn of 2024 features two innovative leaders and business owners who combine their education and social mission-oriented businesses to make a difference in the community while navigating change and inclusion strategies. Dr. DEW will lead an engaging discussion that will benefit faculty, students, and all attendees to better appreciate how the cultivation of the innovative mindset, career readiness, and diversity agility Super Powers help lead to success and a life of meaning. These lessons will help us all be stronger faculty, students, and community engagers.

Dr. Denise E. Williams aka “Dr. DEW”: is a tenured full professor and department chair of Management, Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management in the College of Business and Management at Metro State University.

Michelle Tran Maryns (she/her): serves as CEO of We Sparkle, a public benefit corporation she founded to equip underestimated entrepreneurs with the AI-powered tools they need to succeed. She also is vice president of communications for the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota.

Lutunji Abram ’07: is a CEO and founder of Voices of Effective Change, Inc. (a social enterprise), WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise, with the mission to send the effective voice to the masses, stand with young people and their parents using the tools of personal empowerment and community development.

The College of Business and Management Lunch and Learn is part of an ongoing monthly series of presentations and discussions hosted by the College of Business and Management. This conversation is open to all educators, administrators, instructional designers, and students of Minnesota State Education System. This series allows everyone to meet during lunchtime (Central Standard) and bring their questions and ideas that will include conversation starters and an opportunity for both large and small group conversations.
