Join the College of Management for this Lunch and Learn session examining the ways that leaders can maximize their effectiveness in the use of digital-mediated communication as a needed component of leadership in the Digital Age with guest speaker Dr. Kevin J. Jones EdD. A model to guide leader-member digital mediated choices is constructed to help guide decisions to optimize the interpersonal connection. The model creates a potential research direction to examine the leader-member interpersonal connection further.

Kevin J. Jones, EdD, focuses on identifying innovative solutions to challenges faced by organizations. His broad research agenda addresses topics ranging from leadership competencies to responsible AI usage. He has managed multiple projects at Fortune 100 companies and other organizations addressing organizational transformation, performance improvement, and change navigation. Dr. Jones currently serves as an associate professor of management at Indiana University Columbus and is the director of the Indiana University Columbus Center for Teaching and Learning.
