Join the College of Management for this Lunch and Learn exploring representation for minority students and women in the field of economics, and the effect of institution types on the groups in question in terms of relevence, belonging, and growth mindset (RBG). The discussion covers research undertaken by Dr. Bellas in collaboration with Professors Caroline Krafft and Kristine West at St. Catherine's University, and Professor Ming Lo at Metro State.

Professor Allen Bellas earned his PhD in economics from the University of Washington and has been a member of the College of Management since 2004. His research is focused on a variety of environmental topics including pollution control technology and regulations and benefit cost analysis, complementary and alternative health care, textual analysis and the economic impacts of COVID and stay at home restrictions.

The College of Management Lunch and Learn is part of an ongoing monthly series of presentations and discussions hosted by the College of Management. This conversation is open to all educators, administrators, instructional designers, and students of Minnesota State Education System. This series allows everyone to meet during lunchtime (Central Standard) and bring their questions and ideas that will include conversation starters and an opportunity for both large and small group conversations.
