Join us on a journey to understand the value of building products and services centered around people. This talk will focus on understanding human capabilities and limitations and applying that knowledge to build easy to use and engaging products. Topics will range from many disciplines such as psychology, anthropometry, physiology, statistics, physics, and behavioral economics. We'll also discuss how to apply UX principles and best practices at various phases of the digital product development lifecycle.

About the speaker: Sangam Napit is a senior UX researcher at Amazon in their Transportation and Logistics business. He has a demonstrated history of leading in multiple industries such as energy, retail, and banking. He's skilled in breaking down enterprise silos through UX research, organizational psychology, design thinking, and team building. He's a self-published author and a member of the Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary club. He's been a mentor at Gener8tor and OnRamp Insurance Accelerator in the Twin Cities and has also written for Tech.MN—a local website about technology and startups.
