Dr. Fred Bonner

Join Metropolitan State University in welcoming Dr. Fred Bonner for the Dean’s Visiting Urban Teacher Education Research Scholar Lecture. During this event, Bonner will deliver his talk entitled "Building on Resilience: A Research Focus on Academically Gifted Black Males in P–20 Education Contexts."

Bonner’s work has been featured both nationally and internationally; he has been the recipient of numerous awards. Bonner earned a BA in Chemistry from the University of North Texas, an MS Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Baylor University, and an EdD in Higher Education Administration and College Teaching from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville.
