In commemoration of Metropolitan State University’s upcoming 50th anniversary, Student Life and Leadership Development is organizing a different kind of Fall Fest. Come join our activist panelists for a discussion on resistance, trying times, and celebration.

Panelists will be:

  • Dr. Saby Labor, author and activist
  • Sun Yung Shin, poet and curator
  • Saymoukda Vongsay, playwright and poet
  • Junauda Petru-Nasah, poet and artist
  • Mary Anne Quiroz, organizer

The discussion will be conducted via Zoom videoconference. Join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Metropolitan State State by engaging in the complex challenges of our community!

The event meeting information will be sent a couple weeks in advance. On the day of the event, you will be sent the meeting password. This event will be close-captioned and include ASL interpreters.
